Celebrations Tennessee Tribute
AMHA# 85049
  • Sire - Prince Tennessee Monashee
  • Dam - McSperitts Bay Rum

Tribute, truly looks like a miniature Arabian horse. Born in 1997. I can't imagine what it was like, for the Washburn's of Celebration Farm, where he was born, to see this fine boned, long necked elegant colt. Miniature's just didn't look like that then.

I love to hear Sharon Housley describe seeing him in the pasture and asking to show him! I wish I could have known him then. Tribute had a succsessful show career. Which was long before my time. He drove in single pleasure and did halter! We did show him in Sr Stallions with Sheri and he placed 10th!

When it was time to buy our first "Stallion" we were in Eugene for the Show. Sheri Riedel brought me over to a stall to look at a stallion that Phil Washburn had brought down for people to look at.

There he was! I knew "NOTHING" about what I was looking at. The one thing I had said I didn't want was a "White" stallion! Well, now I know it's gray and now I know what purchasing him "Gray" and all has ment to my life.

When Sheri took him out of the stall, he took our breathe away! Meliss See was there with ll he wisdom and Sharon Housley put him in a cart to show me how he could move! Thank goodness for the guidence of these wonderful women.

Over the years I've been told "but he's gray" it's something I can't change and wouldn't. I wouldn't trade what he has given us.

His foals get better as they age. I'm happy to see his son Dominus staying elegant, fine boned and beautiful. And Tribute, at 14 years of age still, produces current "Arabian type" foals that we look for in modern miniature horses!

Tribute wasn't a World Champion. But he has produced one and I wouldn't be where I am today without him. He gave Quintessa Electributes Dominus We are honored to own him. Tribute is the "ESSENCE" of Quintessa !

AMHA# 162796
  • Sire - Celebrations Tennessee Tribute
  • Dam - Meridians Dynamo Electra

2006 World Grand Champion Jr. Stallion
2006 Futurity Champion Jr. Stallion

To have been able to have bred this stallion so early in our farm's history, can only be a gift from above! I will never forget the night Dominus was born. We were sleeping in the barn, all of us, because we knew Electra was "close."

It was only about 8:00 pm, but with Mini's it can be ANY time. As Austin and I were running to the house to get his "Jammies" Brielle yelled! "Mom, Electra's water broke"! We ran back so fast your head would spin! As I rounded to the stall, this serpentined creature was uncurling before my eyes! He literally uncurled! He lifted up his head as if to say, "Yes, I've arrived and I AM quite special!"

Anyone who breeds knows that there are these moments. When something truly special is born. Nights you will never forget, ingrained in your memories.

The night Dominus was born was that special for us. His dam Meridians Electra Dynamo A31358 was a gift that we were lucky to get. Thank goodness for Meliss See! Born at Meridian Farm in 1989. A Bond Dynamo daughter out of Philippians Becca. She too was ahead of her time. From 1991 to 2001 Electra won Reserve National Grand Jr Mare, - National Grand Champion Sr Mare 32-34" Reserve National Champion Multi-colored Mares and National Champion in Produce of dam.

Electra has only had 6 foals. 4 of them have been National Champions and World Grand Champions! Not bad! Electra is one of the "Grand Old Dam's" of the industry.

As a yearling in 2006 Dominus won both Futurity and onto World Grand Champion Jr Stallion! In 2008 he won Reserve World Champion Sr Stallions 30 - 32" His foals are carrying on in his footsteps. We have bred Dominus to a number of bloodlines and we are seeing a similar "type." Upright necks, beautiful heads, tight tippy ears, good all around confirmation with plenty of hip! And most of all a good kind horse that is a pleasure to be around!
